A Celebration of Caribbean American Culture
This year’s “A Celebration of Caribbean American Culture” on June 3rd brought that spirit to life.
Hosted by Caribbean Business Connections (CBC) in partnership with the Nassau County Office of Minority Affairs and Team Jamaica Bickle, the event brought together community leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, elected officials, and residents from across the Caribbean diaspora for an evening of recognition, networking, and cultural pride.
Held at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, New York, the event highlighted the tremendous impact Caribbean Americans continue to make within their communities and beyond.
One of the evening’s most memorable moments was the recognition of distinguished honorees representing several Caribbean nations. These individuals were celebrated for their achievements in business, public service, media, entrepreneurship, education, community advocacy, and cultural preservation.
Their stories served as powerful reminders that success is not only measured by personal accomplishments but also by the positive impact we have on others.
